Here are the great Remixes of our Greek Geek EP.
Check out the first Remix of “Bloom” from Tom Flynn,
he is known as one of House Musics most respected
forward thinking Producers and has already released on
Dirtybird and Deadfish. His Remix is the definition of
pushing deep, straight and modern House Music.
The second rework is called “Greek Geek” and got remixed
by Joyce Muniz & Shanti Roots.
Joyce is a Brazilian DJ, vocalist, club promoter and producer
living in Vienna. Besides she’s being one of the musicians
who brought a new flair into House Music. Her current
release on Exploited Records is a blast and the single of the
month in the DJ Mag.
Last but not least you hit “Greek Geek” the two fresh poppy
mixes by the everywhere loved producer Play Paul from Paris.
He released tracks for over 10 years on Kitsuné and Gigolo.

Get the new Single from the Acidkids called “Greek Geek”!
It includes the 2 new tracks and an amazing Remix from
Oliver $ (Made to Play/Berlin).
Greek myth attempts to explain the origins of the world and
details the lives and adventures of a wide variety of gods,
goddesses, heroes, heroines, and mythological creatures. But
what the hell does it deal with the fifth Single of the Acidkids?
Right, the Acidkids wanna step into a new Genre called „Greek
Myth House“. On the A-Side is a very warm and soulful Housetrack
called „Bloom“. And by the bust of Zeus, you will love it! The
second track „Greek Geek“ is an anthem for all the fans of
hellenic bass house and reflects the weird experiments with
selfmade Ouzo of Daniel Dexter, Topper Harley and X van Haag
in the streets of Athen.

Nachdem wir auf der letzten Party beobachtet haben, dass Theo Pozoga – so sein richtiger Name- das Zeug dazu hat, die Spritiuosen sowie das Publikum in Ingolstadt richtig wegzuboomsen, wird er heute Abend sein Comeback feiern.
Gebürtig aus Bordeaux, mittlerweile schon länger im Schmelztiegel Berlin ansässig, wurde vor kurzem auf seinem Homelabel Boys Noize Rec. von illustren Leuten wie Ian Pooley und Das Glow geremixt, bei der der Name schon sagt wo`s langgeht. Er vertritt nicht das brachiale Bassline-Fronkreisch sondern eine neue innovative House-Richtung die dem Namen mehr als gerecht wird.
In seinen Sets verbindet er Peaktime-Knaller mit Chicago-Techno-Classics und natürlich seinem eigenem Filter-Cut-Up-House-Sound…(
watn Wort)… Dass er musikalisch seine Wurzeln eigentlich ziemlich breit angelegt hat, zeigt sich dadurch, dass er mit seinen Video-Mixtapes den Bogen von Notorious B.I.G. bis Kraftwerk alles verwurstet was Rang und Name hat!
Aber erstmal gilt es diesen Abend erneut zu überleben, in diesem Sinne: Qu´est-qu il ya aprés des artichauts?

Nach dem famosen Bier-, äh, Acidfest bleiben wir in Bayern und holen direkt aus der Landeshauptstadt Florian Senfter aka Zombie Nation. In der Philosophie ist ein Zombie ein hypothetisches Wesen ohne (phänomenales) Bewusstsein, das sich jedoch wie ein Mensch verhält. Aha! Da wir aber nicht in der Philosophie, sondern im Maki heute Nacht zu Gast sind kann uns das egal sein. Der Sound lässt sich selbst so gar nicht definieren aber wer ihn schon mal erlebt hat, der weiß von was wir schreiben. Auch DJ-Support und Kollaborationen mit einigen Schwergewichten aus dem Business geben ihm Recht. Egal ob auf Cocoon, Turbo oder seinem eigenen Label UKW, egal ob als Zombie Nation, John Starlight oder ZZT , es kracht, scheppert, blippt, zirpt und sägt dass sisch de Balge biege… Dass er jetzt erst nach 2 Jahren nach Ingolstadt zurückkehrt freut uns so sehr dass wir uns an diesem Abend einen Kasten Krombacher genehmigen werden.

Remixes come from NT 89, well known from his releases and remixes on Southern Fried and Turbo Rec., our Austrian Friends and radiojocks Beware & Motorpitch from Man Recordings and Daniel Dexter, a part of Malente & Dex of Exploited Records!
